I think that this paranoia is a sign that you need a break, a large one. I used to think in simillar ways when i was smoking every day.
I havent smoked in months and I feel great.
Its not the smartest Idea to chuck away a degree of some sort, lots of people out in the world missed out just because they didnt have the motivation to get to that level of education. Screw it up now and you will regret it.
