SweetSativa's story reminds me of one of my own, I'd nearly forgotten it.
I've told it here before, but it probably drowned in bullshit and you useless stoners probably forgot it anyway.

It was the second time I tried to commit suicide, I was going to jump off a cliff.

My friend was studing for an exam at the time, and knew nothing of my plans. While he's reading, he hears a voice telling him to lay his book down. He thinks it's his imagination and keeps reading. The voice comes again, saying the same thing. He lays down his book and the voice tells him to "pray for funky_unkle." So he does, not knowing what exactly to pray for.

At that very moment, I'm balancing on the edge, 100% determined to die, even happy and calm about it. I try to get off the cliff by closing my eyes and falling, balancing on one leg, walking backwards, running, but it's like walking through a wall. It's like it's physically impossible to get over the edge, so eventually I just have to give up. You feel like quite teh l00s4r when you can't even kill yourself.

My friend told me what had happened to him later, without knowing what I'd been up to.

So anyway, there's a few examples of not only us talking to God, but God talking to us. I can only speculate how God would have tried to solve the situation if my friend hadn't been *listening*.
