Thumbs up

"FLUORESCENT LAMP - A discharge lamp in which a phosphor coating transforms ultraviolet energy into visible light. Fluorescent lamps are good for starting seedlings and rooting cuttings, but do not have enough intensity to sustain aggressive growth in plants in the later stages of life, and are not efficient enough in their conversion of electrical power to lumens of light output."

This was what I had a slight disagreement with.
I think the times have sufficiently changed to void this opinion on
fluorescent lighting. Now it may not have the penetration power of HID, but
Is it a viable option for a complete grow? I would say quite honestly, yes.
Especially when one compares the new "T5s" to what we used before.
Can a canna plant be brought to a decent finale solely with flo lighting?
Absolutely.

{ Disclaimer inserted here, I'm not a brainiac when it comes to running formulaic constructs. Fact is, I'm rather lazy and lacking in things of such a nature. I do, however, enjoy the flight of the bumblebee }
