Philips developed the Son T Agro lamp in Holland for growing flowering plants indoors. It is a High Pressure Sodium lamp and therefore its light output is mainly in the "red" end of the spectrum which is important for flower or fruit growth. However about 30% of the light is in the "blue" end of the light spectrum and this ensures good leaf and stem growth. Basically the Son T Agro will cover a complete plant growth cycle.
