When I pray, I address higher power(s)... sometimes specifically and sometimes generally. The ego can sometimes be a complete maniac but there are times that letting go can be so damn comforting and then there are those times when you are given proof that something is looking after ya. It could be the 'self' but definately a different dimension of the self (soul).... something apart from the mind and the brain. I do not think I am the same as those I am addressing but connected to them... they, my friends.
*walks away singing, "I have a friend in Jesus..."
*changes channels, "I swear they're out there, I swear... maybe angels..."
