"Spiritual" is an oxymoron. There is physical reality, and there are spirits; beings. We are human beings and we also have animals, and no doubt other living beings. Likewise there are different spiritual beings. Some disembodied spirits were called gods in ancient times, but the one true *omnipotent God (*which of course is a requirement to wear the title) made it clear early on (the flood, the exodus et al) that there was only one God.
So there is one great spirit and mankind has agreed on that and we call it civilization. Of course punks who live with their parents or on student loans say anarchy would be better, but that's because they live in civilization and can be weak and dumb and still survive. Were there anarchy my gang would kill them and take their women (joke).
No God is plain and obvious and Satan is subtle and sneaky as always. Kind of like parents and teens; parents do all the work and are treated like dorks while teens suck the fridge dry and dis the oparents. This is how we treat God and in His infinite mercy He does not squash us like bugs but instead sends His favorite son to die in our place.
This is because when the old body dies the spirit man does not; it is spirit; made of the same substance as God; it cannot die. It, or rather we, must be judged; on this all religions and philosphy agree; karmic retribution is inevitable.
So the One almighty God who begat the rest of us, including Lucifer, who rebelled against God (as do we) has allowed us to have free wills and Satan to run the world system. So we have guys like Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rove running America under Satan's 1 world order, and you are not running to your bookstore to buy a New Testament so you can read what Jesus said about how to kick Satan's ass?
No all sentient beings are spirit beings housed in a body and the mind is the go between. Humans, Angels, God, Satan, demons, aliens; all spirit beings; this is the essence of who we are; when the body dies we still have a nose, head, arms and legs, etc; thousands of people over the centuries have written life after death experiences; peoople fall thruy ice and live after being dead for up to an hour!
The scary part is they all have one of 2 experiences:
1) "I saw a light an heard my grandmother, I was greeted by angels and walked down a tunnel of light"
2) "I was full of fear, something was grabbing at my ankles, pulling me down...."
GO ahead if you aren't a bunch of posers; get a book on life after death experiences and read it. Then read what Jesus said; the words are in red.
Bottom line what are you seeking? If you open your mind to anything someone might dump garbage into it.
