Meeting Tommy Chong.

Last Thursday my wife comes home and says, " I have some news, Tommy Chong is going to be at a bookstore downtown tonite, do you want to go, or stay here and get some laundry done?"

"hmmm", I say, " I think this is something that we should miss."

Like it wasn't obvious that we were going, no matter what!

So we head downtown and get some coffee, he wasn't going to be there until 7.

When we get there we bought his book , The I Ching, which has been very well writen, and headed up stairs. There was NO ONE THERE! So we got into the line up and waited. The only people before us were contest winners. And sure enough about 5 till 7 the place went crazy and was packed. Mr. Chong came out, said a few words and then commenced to greeeting.

My wife said that he was looking at me and smiling as soon as he came out onto the floor. I didn't see him glance at me more than once, but what ever. If I saw me in a crowd of short hairs getting their books signed I'd notice the one guy with long hair and a beard. I can say that out of the whole time we were there, my wife and I are the only ones that got to shake his hand. We also got a nice picture with him, which he consented to, for our christmas cards.

Nice can't wait to send those home to the family. I love this town.
