Defining truth infringes upon Free Will. Very interesting that you create this thread now, because I just made a very relevent post in another thread which I think fits in here quite nicely:
If one cannot find truth in the Bible, I fail to see how he can find truth anywhere else. Or to go further: if one cannot find truth someplace, he ought not claim to have found it any place else. For what is truth but a belief, and what is belief but a choice? To deny the merit of another's choice is to deny the merit of one's own choice.
No belief has any more or less merit than any other, and to believe differently gives one a sense of superiority: a sense from which springs our entire history of religious turmoil. For myself, I choose to see the merit in all things.
