I used to think that ya
needed a big (5 gal) bucket for bud, but nowadays alll my buckets are 3 gal. Even the Tubgirl thing works out to 2.5 gal / plant. You'll get argument on this, but I think the 3 gal bucket is fine,
unless roots start poking out the bottom. (which hasn't happened to me yet)
