Update:
Nada Surf were pretty good, the songs were all well played and they held the crowd's attention for the entirety of the show. I am familiar with the band but not really a fan, plus the excitement of bands to come made their performance fly by without much memory...
The Presidents were great, it was a high energy show right when it started to cool down, the music was rock solid, the crowd interaction was supurb, with peaches being tossed on stage to taking a fan's cowboy hat only to start lump with a western intro, this band still has it, if not for making new hits but rehashing the old ones into something new orignial and fun...
Incubus was right on point, all their songs were spot on and sounded just as they do as they do on the albums, this can be either a great thing or a bad thing, for me it was great musicianship but i expected them to push themselves abit... They played all the hits and did a couple of the lesser known songs and had an awesome drum breakdown that exploaded into an even cooler guitar workout...
Modest Mouse was on fire, they had three 7+ minute jams of new material, mixed 3 songs together throughout the show, the encore of spitting vemon was amazing and the highlight of the show, the second highlight came with the 15+ minute version of Tiny Cities of Ashes, and the crowd interaction was high-larous...
The show on a whole was an awesome experience and just reafirrmed my love for both the gorge and the bands that preformed...
