thanx!
actually it was the blue chambray workshirt that did it for me
...his voice rumbled in his chest when he spoke."your father will likely kill me when he finds out, but i dont care,"he said, "your kiss is more than worth it."
"oh no,"she prayed into the hollow of his throat, "Dear Jesus, please dont let daddy ever find out!"
"he'll find out sooner or later anyway," he breathed into her hair,"theres nothing we can do abou it." his back stiffened and he pulled away." unless you want to stop this right now."
without a word, she took his hand and led him up the hill and out of the garden, over the old fallen rock wall and deep into the shady pines.
that evening as she was finishing up the dishes she noticed how the curved side of the sponge fit perfectly against the curved side of the dishwashing liquid bottle, and she stood there for a long time drying her hands in her apron, looking at the sponge and bottle nestling and cuddling together, thinking of lance and the unfairness of it all. 'why does daddy hate him so?' she wondered for the millionth time. he was so strong and handsome and kind and good-natured! he was well liked and had many friends among the men at the (pick one: steel mill, coal mine, meat packing plant, waste treatment facility).
well at this point i dont kno if i really have to type the rest of the story out, the whole thing is so self xplanitory this crap pretty much writes itself, whether its set in the civil war or the present day or whenever. everybody can just fill in their own details for themselves, as long as it ends with daddy either having a change of heart or gets revealed as a monster and horribly killed, and lance & veda are together.
