It's only being circulated in front of HEAD SHOPS!

Why? Do the WANT it to fail?

If the volunteers posted themselves in front of supermarkets, Wal-marts, and Home Depots, they'd get A LOT more signatures. Maybe they are afraid of the public's reaction being assailed by a petition gatherer seeking their approval of such a controversial issue as they are leaving Wal-Mart.

Oh, come on! This is Cali-fucking-fornia. Our twice-elected governor has publicly declared that he feels that pot is, "Not a drug," and no one batted an eye.

Marijuana legalization is not a fringe issue here. Most people, Republicans and Democrats, question the wisdom of its continued prohibition. Yet the supporters of the measure treat it as if it WERE a fringe issue by limiting the petition signing locations to head shops.

If they put this petition before the people and give them the OPPORTUNITY to sign it, sign they will.
