Heres another sonnet, but in the spencerian form, that i need to do for school. btw, the topic choices for these sonnets are, 1. love, 2. someone or something that has really helped you, and some other choice which I don't remember.

"As Strange As it May Be

It may seem strange who the two that helps are
They have seen everything that seems to gleam,
And the pain that seems to dim the bright star
It looks as if they belong off a dream

These two are my cats, as hard as it seem
They’ve shown their faces since my problems arrived
Though they maybe frightened if I may scream
But some how they have managed to survive

They always run back and they take the dive
Rubbing against me, telling me it’s fine
If not for them who’d know where I would drive
And somehow they make me smile before I dine

Oh these cats fill a large spot in my heart
I’d hate to see that day when one may part"
