Awareness, emotion, compassion and sympathy, all rolled into my memories.
Serenity now encircles us.
Oh, and if they could speak, what stories they would tell?
Of times so long ago, of people who fought, fell and fled the scene so that we could be free.
Appreciate the ones who will fight and loose their lives, they will be sacrificed.
I am a Warrior, fighting to keep us safe from our enemies.
Courageous and brave, we must not be afraid.

SILENCE….
Lost lives, land titles, physically battered, shot, tears, anger, victory and finally the awakening.......
Horrifying memories that won't let my mind rest.
What a sacrifice they made, they fought and thought they were winning.
Silence is not the answer..........~
