there is so much i want to say about this but don't know where to begin or how to organize it. maybe once i've had some time to ponder it i'll have more to say, but i think it's very important that everyone here learn from his life as well as his death.

personally, i've taken two things from this since learning about it:

1) you never know when the last time you'll see/talk to someone will be, so try not harbor resentment towards others.

2) drug addiction is a terrible thing. what's even more terrible, however, is what can happen when society abandons and demonizes people suffering from it rather than treating them.

there's so much more i want to say but am having trouble putting it into words right now...in any case, i want everyone here to know that i've got nothing but love for matt and everyone here even if it doesn't always seem like it.

i think we can all learn from matthewmunari.
