Buffet is certainly damned capable..he's the Buckminster Fuller of the Economic world....but he's is getting up there, don't know if he has the physical stamina for the demands on this now tough job. I think maybe Blair from FDIC...she's a compassionate centrist and very capable too, and used to the 14 hour days.......
and yea, Gates is good.....how about old Sam Nunn? What would it take to get him out of retirement......he always struck me as effective, informed and a centrist.
