You have some good choices there Komp.

Robert Gates has quietly become an excellent Secretary of Defense and I would like to see him continue in the job for a few more years. And who could argue Buffet as Secretary of the Treasury?

I'm not as sure for Talbot as State, but he'd be a better choice than John Kerry. I'm sorry to say I don't know much about Indra Nooyi, so I won't comment.

Fareed Zakaria is the only one that I have some issue with. While I agree he's an excellent journalist in international affairs, I'm not so sure that qualifies him for the NSA job. Besides, I'd miss him too much on the Daily Show and ABC.

The Post had an interesting timeline comparing the cabinet selection process in all the administrations going back to Nixon. If the pattern holds true we won't really see the bulk of Obama's choices until early/mid-December.
