Hillary is also in the running for Sec of State or U.S. Diplomat. I personally would prefer Bubba for State for the reasons stated earlier.
As for the CIA, John Brennan the head of the National Counter Terrorism Center has been advising Obama so far, so he's thought to be the lead runner. Two Intelligence Committee members are up for it, Chuck Hagel and Jane Harman. Tom Fingar, the intelligence chief at the State Department is also mentioned.
Don't know much about any of them so I don't know who'd be best.
