The law goes into effect on December 4! The Department of Health has until May to establish the guideline specifics, NOT THE LAWMAKERS! Thus far, a certified "patient" can have 2.5 oz on hand, and grow 12 plants. Or, a "licensed caregiver" can grow for 5 "patients", 12 plants per patient, 60 (!) total. The law can be used by unlicensed "patients" and "caregivers" as a defense against prosecution for either cultivation, possession, or use if the individual can show it helps a personal medical issue or it's for someone else with a medical issue. That's a nice little footnote, eh? Here's some info I found:
