Try an electronic pest control device made for spiders and small pests. It plugs into a wall and emits ultrasonic sounds that should be a pretty good annoyance. I've used this kind and have had pretty good results just in my room: Amazon.com: Black & Decker EX410-2P-TP1 Ultrasonic Pest Repeller, Medium Room: Patio, Lawn & Garden
