Dunno safers soap myself, got some own brand insecticide soap from B&Q (DIY store), says safe to use on crops before harvest.
Might just be the same as some household soap but that may well have perfume and other crap you don`t want to put on your plants, I`m not sure.
If you do use soap on yer plants make sure to wash it off before harvest.
