the point about the fridge is that you have a large space where light is going away and not making it to the plants, so it would be better to have a white wall right there reflecting light back.
when you are finished painting, here are 2 other things to think about: plants seem to prefer steadier temps w/o a lot of rapid fluctuation (i know you insulated but your highs/lows are a little too far apart still imo), and you might work on getting your humidity up a little more if possible.
