Hokay. The Lord just couldn't standeth the thought of painting the whole Goddamn room (again) so I made a little ghetto compromise.
I'm not too concerned about temp swings of 10 degrees or so. I grew last winter without insulation, and the swings were 30+. Still had a lovely harvest, just took a long time to finish.
As for the bigger lamp, I have a 1,000W switchable MH/HPS but the meter flies when that kid is fired up. I want to see how this grow turns out with the 430W on the rail. I don't expect all 8 plants to be female... of course, that would be nice!
