I believe focus is just the act of setting the scope for your perception. Similar to how in a 3-D video game it is choppiest while your character is moving but when stationary and in focus there is far more visual stability.
The direction of something only matters based on your sight to say I guess. Some people can be pointed in the right spot for their entire lives and still make negative progress towards their direction. Cool ass picture though. The idea of direction of the soul/thought I think is silly because energy cannot be bounded by any 3-Dimensional structure, so the direction is only a fraction of it's total being/motion.
To a sense I agree with your statement about how "it flows that way as a result of everything before" because the way the mind works is based on metaphors to say. Everything you know/understand is based on a comparison of millions of other things you've experianced previously. Which means everything we create/produce(including ideas and such) are actually limited by our existence. We are surrounded by nuclear bombs, but somehow we degrade raw energy from inside the chaos and then w can pet our dogs, and pluck pedals off a flower and whatever else we do daily. It really is an interesting place we are conscience at.
Energy doesn't store information. Energy is information, so when we die we are just as pure as when we are alive.
That picture started to melt and be projected on my wall sooo for me that is always a good time to stop looking at crazy shit..
