the awareness is the magnet that pulls the energy together. your mind is the lens that focuses the awareness, the portal for the energy to pass through.
THINK ABOUT IT. is there anything else in the known universe that can theoretically eliminate energy like this? we are always taught that all energy in the universe cannot be created or destroyed, simply displaced, but the consciousness is the one exception. we do not necessarily destroy the energy, for memories are always there, but where are they? you cannot tell me that memory exists in this universe. it is drawing forth from somewhere else.
