I'm sorry if you thought I was attacking you Dandaweedman.
By the way, I have nothing against AN, most of their products are great, as are most of Canna's, Botanicare, and most others. They wouldn't stay in business for very long if their products didn't work! And yes almost all of them pay a PhD, either as a consultant or as an employee. But my point is chemically speaking these products do not differ much from company to company. Whether it be the nutes or additives, each company has an overpriced equilivant of the other.
The science behind these products is real, but the companies themselves -beyond formulating a particular product - did none of this research. It is based on work in universities around the world and usually available to the curious on-line for free.
That's my rant. Gotta go!
