As a stoner I was unmotivated and very short fused. You are way too bias about weed, Ric. One negative effect I hope you will admit is that it GETS YOU HIGH!!! That would be a negative effect for someone trying to work on numbers for a living. The effects linger to the next day and you know it. I can't crunch numbers after smoking the night before.

You are splitting hairs. My fingers will get sore if I respond to every aspect of your argument.
My point was things you enjoy are psychologically addictive. I wasn't comparing smoking pot to lifting, only that both are things I do regularly because I enjoy them.

You might be unmotivated while stoned which means you should only smoke after all tasks are completed. You said you weren't physically addictive so you should have no problem waiting until you need no more motivation for that day before you smoke. The short fuse I don't understand. Pot usually has a mellowing effect on people. I have to admit the high is a negative? I wouldn't smoke if I thought that. I don't know what the fuck you smoke but I have NEVER felt the effect of smoking pot from the previous night. Unless of course I was using something else along with it, most notably, alcohol. And I program CNC lathes, so numbers are my game.

I'm not splitting hairs. You have concluded that pot is the root of your problems and if you need a scapegoat for your problems, and it works for you, have at it. I will continue to argue that anyone who uses pot WISELY will have no problems that stem from such usage.
