a few of my options I've thought about is...
locomotive engineer
nuclear power plant operator
work in stucco or even have your own company that does it
some jobs with the electrical companies too
etc..
there's so many random jobs like that that require little-no schooling/degrees that pay a lot.

Don't expect to be making 80k out of college. Pick a career that you will enjoy, and one where there's possibility for advancement. If you're good at what you do, then you can make 80k+ a year. The highest paid friend I have (straight out of college) makes 65k. Granted she majored in nanoengineering and is now working for Exxon. Most higher paid jobs don't drug test. But that's only in my experience with the people I know. The only time you can get a high paying job without an education is if you are an incredibly intelligent person and are extremely skilled. Otherwise if you're an average person like most of us, going to school is really the best way to go. Going to school teaches you to think about things in different ways, and with the more knowledge you can gain, you can use it to your advantage. Just taking some basic economics classes will give you a better idea of how you should use your money.
