I feel that Jesus's teaching are still valid in my life, although I don't consider myself a Christian. My feelings of understanding and connection to many of the worlds enlightened masters could lead me to say 'Well yea I'm as much of a Christian as a follower of Buddha, Krisna and many of the great Yogis that have taught from the lives of these people. Hinduism is really what made the allegories in the Gospels really shine and fully make sense to me for the first time in my life, although I'm sure they are unique and wouldn't have great orthadox appeal in some mainline churches. I feel that I still know the Consciousness from which they all come and that that itself would speak to those mainliner people. All Religions to me feel to have the same Breath, Soul and Ideals which are being described by the ones writing them. The Factualness is neither here or there for me because I feel that these Texts all have conceptions of God, which real or not, is atleast an idealized capacity of humans who come from God and are worth considering how to integrate into our lives, True or Idealistic, they hold meaning to me. But I won't get into my personal persuations here, just this little story.
