Not giving a shit sort sounds similiar to the idea that nonattachment to the outcomes of our work will lead to less suffering/expectations.

I don't know if I'd say its the same thing for this thought. It's kind of the apathetic sounding side of the coin, but hey man, whatever works for you.

I agree totally with the Rev though. Having a PMA goes along way in seeing the brighterside when things are less than splendid, and keeps you flexable about what to do with then unexpected......alth ough, not giving a shit is a broad brush stroke.

Perhaps, Don't give a shit with a positive outlook would be good though. I wouldn't phrase myself as a don't give a shit, in my words, but I would say I'm usually whatever if people want me to do something...' sure whatever I'm not up to anything '
