yeah I read that yesterday trying to figure out the flip flop hubs and what not.

I still don't know, cause I mean I found some nice track wheels on craigslist that are fixed only, but I kinda want a flip-flop hub so I'm still waiting for the right set of wheels to come by.

I just don't understand how fixed could possibly have any more benefits other than feels closer to your bike and in more control. I mean IMO, coasting is worth sacrificing fixed gear for being just having the ability to coast at all. Besides, we've got a lot of big hills around here, so safe(fast) coasting is a necessity.
