Drug testing for public assistance will fall under denying the claim, just as immediate drug testing goes for anyone that files a claim for worker's compensation. "Dirty" drug test means no compensation. Whether it be the poppy seed muffin you ate that day or the Advil you took. Or even prescribed drugs that may have impaired your judgement that caused you to be injured on the job.

When mass job losses are in the current scenario, the government is losing tons of money in income tax. Therefore, any excuse to deny benefits comes into play so they will have more money to give to the rich. As usual, they use the prohibition as a vehicle.

All the brainwashed people out there who think drug testing really works need to wake up. It only works to keep them impoverished. If the government was really interested in stopping the flow of illegal drugs, they would stop the C.I.A. from importing them on a daily basis. Of course, anyone who chooses to try to sidestep paying their dues to the C.I.A. is conveniently arrested by the D.E.A. Your tax dollars at work-against you.:finger:
