Bushy they are Farmergiles, good for growth, bad for trimming
Well SAF, I have to agree. A nerve bomb is not what I need either, funny I prefer the Sativa doms then hey?
I guess I need to move around some at all times and an indica would put me on the couch.
The crosses with Kali in it seem to turn into very nice plants as well so there IS more than one way to skin a cat
Kosh, I guess part of my reasoning for using the J-cloth germination method is so we don't have to commit space and mix to cups until we know they are viable.
And for the old seeds we have it combines a tried and true germ method with the pre-soak some people tend to use to soften the seed pod before placing into the mix.
I know what you mean about the root. After about 5 days the Sabretooth x A11 already had roots running around the bottom of the cups, but indoors it is about size more than root in some ways.
When I pot up I tear the roots with my hands so I work under the assuption I am stressing them.
I think it is important to break that circle.
The pictures I take are a kind of log file unto themselves that is true. We post few compared to what I take.
But I like to take pictures of things I want to remember about each strain/cross.
The colouration of the pistils in the second part of flower, the look of the pistils.
Looks really are what draws the eye to a cross and makes you want to try it...
and I loved the Rosetta stone because of the bright white pistils on most plants.
Taking the same picture for each plant would assist you in determining the growth rate and the overall look of a certain pheno tho and we do that as well.
The log book is where we keep general growing info. Veg times, germ times, flower times. Interesting growth traits, plant issues, how much our ever present thrips like a cross/plant.
