We compost everything that comes out of the garden and within the year it goes back into the garden again.
I've seen similar things though (piles of dirt not people chucking it out - if I had seen the latter I would have got chatting

) and occasionally it does concern me, particularly the bags themselves. In all honesty though if you need a flat bed to get rid of your dirt then you're probably running a commercial grow and if you're running a comm crop in dirt you're either very stupid or very dedicated. I've seen quite a few commercial grows and almost without exception NFT is flavour of the warehouse.
I can't say I've never dumped a root ball or two though. I remember with fondeness the late night missions when I lived in an apartment in order to find somewhere to ditch them. Same with trim leaves, at university after every couple of harvests we would have bin bags full of unresinated fan leaves and used to take great delight in taking bags of them out late at night to area away from our grow and just scattering them everywhere. Parked cars, pavements, phone boxs, driveways, all dotted with autumnally coloured cannabis leaves!!!
Cha, when everyday we burn enough enough noxious chemicals to make Shaun Ryder high I think there are more severe environmental plights,
people are lazy, I've come to accept that.
Incidentally, that whole story reminded me exactly why I dumped my table and went back to 'nature'.
