). I never used to look into the dream symbolism because I held such a strong belief that whatever came from dreams was only relevant to symbolism that we may hold for ourselves. However, treading upon the Red Man's path changed that when animals began to appear dreams and in life with messages that I could not determine without researching. Eh, people could argue hindsight bias and placebo (whatever the hell that phenomena ACTUALLY is

) or any number of other things but I'm not interested in arguing. I've done too damn much of it lately

Freud was too stongly influenced by.... himself. He made too many assumptions. He did have some good ideas though (id/ ego/ superego, conflict between what we 'should do' and what we 'want to do'... you know). He got in the way of himself.
