Most everyone in the thread has it wrong on two accounts: The Mayans never set a specific date
and it has nothing to do with anything negative happening to mankind.
No, nothing will happen because it already started happening. The biggest misconception is the date itself...it was an estimation from the Mayans and was never anything more. The shift/change started in the late 90's and will continue unabated until 2012-2015. 2012 was supposed to be the obvious marker of a measurable amount of change that we would look back and see how much was different, but the shift has been happening right before all your eyes...open them wider and you will see how much has already occurred. There is no instantaneous flash/bang change...it's all a slow (now that slow though, we are accelerated), gradual process that has been going for some time now.
This shift has nothing to do with transdimensions portals opening, raptures or apocalypses, or the sky filling with ships and it's most certainly nothing to fear...it's merely a shift on how people treat each other and think about earth, life and it's relationship to
all creatures. The 'Golden Age' , which I do think is a real thing, is just a mindfulness of our human race and it's impact on the environments. It's a different way of doing business/economy, it's 'green energy', it's Web 3.0, it's instantaneous global communication, it's worldwide
knowledge-of-self. It's not only going to happen, it's happening...I experience it more every single day. It's a full realization of our own powers.
Come December 21st 2012, nothing will happen. The sun will rise, birds will sing, people will get as tense if not more than on January 1st 2000....and then the sun will set and life will continue.
