This is ridiculous?
Are you gonna believe the science of an extinct society from a time when nearly every person thought the earth was flat? Or are you gonna believe modern day science that had/has/is being tested repeatedly producing small errors if any.
This should be closed, no 1 society can predict the exact date of a catastrophic event, which isn't even thoroughly explained that could basically kill all life. I'd figure if you could predict the exact date you could also predict by what means. Not none of this 'dark rift' shit. And since you included gravity into the equation, this theory could be checked, (although not tested for obvious reasons) and physicist by now would have known something was to come.
K, I just read what Ego said, and if what he said is true then I suppose..... the whole doomsday shit is still incorrect. I was just told by nearly everyone that it was a specific date. I'll Wiki it right now.... k, you are correct. The Mayan's didn't see it as the apocalypse. So fuck all those people who misinformed me and others.
As for enlightenment, knowledge of the self and our connection with nature... I must say this...
It's not happening as of now. At least, people aren't outspoken about their understanding of our connection with nature. I must admit, I am among the majority who hasn't yet seen the connection. Maybe, the true knowledge is that we aren't connected after all. Shit, no wonder why we are the cause of death of millions of people, trees, animals etc. I can however admit I am learning a lot about my self and other humans whose eyes are connected to a fucking tube nearly 8 hours a day. I agree with George Carlin on his opinion of the baby boomers. Although I am a child of one, I have credibility and reasons for my hatred towards them. I can also agree that change is occurring in our daily lives. Sorry for ruining the thread
