sure, post 50s/60s dub uses a lot of reggaeton tracks to sample, yes,,, because that's why/how reggae came to be..

the soundsystems got all of their music that they'd sample from the US and the UK. in the 50s and 60s, everything coming out of the US and UK was rock and stuffs.. they wanted up-beat shuffles and ballads to sample, so they started making their own music and that's how rocksteady and later on reggae and later soca came about.

Dub did not even exist til the 60s. Everyone was still playing jazz and blues in the 20s. Perhaps your confusing DJs with actual dub music, because certainly the format of someone selecting music for an audience has existed much longer in Jamaica than anywhere else. However, they were not making Dub music. The very definition of Dub music is remixing reggae b-sides. The dudes who invented Dub weren't even alive in the 20s. King Tubby who is generally credited with creating Dub, was born in the 1940s. You can attribute his influences to an earlier time but there was no Dub music til the 60s. Do some research, I have several books on the subject and have never found anything to back up what your saying here.
