Yeah, my Dominican dealer is cool as hell and doesn't even smoke. Just a way for him to make extra money. He always has a few ranges: Low grade mex which is obviously dirt cheap shit - won't touch it. Mids/dro (90 qt) and is good

He's never not had chronic ever and I buy from him weekly. He'll delivery, meet anywhere usually within 15 minutes or so, or I go to is place
I try to accommodate him too as he is cool and will set me up with extra nugs. So I will go to his place to pick-up about evenly now which is more than fair. He's allows returns my calls (but 95% of the time he picks up) within minutes and arrangements made.
I treat the guy with 100% respect and he trust me 100% even though I'm white and look straight. He says I'm one of his best customers. As I've gotten older I've learned to really value any and all connects as I've had only 1 that was over an hour away for a long time (for like 10 years - its hard when you get older). Up till I was 30 I had connects all over the place, then I moved, then they all faded away and I was stuck. This guy is like gold to me and I treat him so. He also likes me because I'm a safe easy to deal with dude with a decent income.
You need to develop a good mutual respect between you and your dealer. That means you meet exactly when you say and pay what you owe, no bull-shit. And if your dealer fronts, be sure to pay him back EXACTLY when you say you will as this definitely builds trust.
