[QUOTE=SpankyMcLankey ;51770093]No it fucking won't help our economy, but it sure as hell would keep innocent people out of jail.
You are saying the 50,000 different products we could be manufacturing from hemp won't grow our economy. Why do you think marijuana is illegal?? Go study the history. They are protecting the oil cartels by keeping it from competing on the marketplace. What do you think taking perfectly good assets and turning them into liabilities does to our economy?? This is the same thing that was happening during the prohibition of alcohol. That was a major factor in the cause of the Great Depression.
If hemp was legal, Dubya could not have done what he did in his last year in office which was to take the cash flow out of millions of people's lives and give it to the Saudis. BHO should make hemp and cannabis legal now in his first year in office. Talk about "green jobs."
I have no sympathy for any entity of Korporate Amerikka who supported the oil cartels which are now putting them out of business. Companies that drug test. Companies that funded the D.A.R.E. program. We need to get law enforcement the hell out of the medical society. They do not belong there. We need to be manufacturing paper goods, food products, clothing, fuels, plastics, and many other products from hemp. This would grow the hell out of our economy.
