I think that taking a simple job is great. The duties aren't that hard and it gives you alot of time to work things out in your head, think of headier issues, or just get blazed and be simply focused.

To me the hard work on doing something like chopping or carrying
is the enlightenment.
I consider myself a smart guy, but I always end up working with people who sometimes haven't even graduated HS. This makes me think what type of jobs am I getting? In the end it doesn't matter, because I choose to like my work and do it well. Don't sweat a small job. Doing service work, imo, gives people a much greater appriciation for ALL the jobs that makes the 'world' go round.
