If you've got a radar detector, go the whole nine yards and run it with a jammer. They're not
that expensive. They basically just give who/whatever (i.e: Cop/speedtrap) is firing a laser at you a false reading.
They're usually mounted on/around the front grille, but valentine do a 360 degree coverage system iirc, that costs a shitload unfortunately, albeit, is awesome though.

They're legal at the minute in the UK, dunno about the US, as fortunately the jammer is the same system people use to remotely open garage doors. Although there have been stories about police paying people surprise visits early in the morning to check they do actually have remote garage doors...
