i have to disagree...
the majority of homosexuals arent nurtured or treated with any sort of acceptance at all, in fact they are completely repressed and hide their homosexuality well into adulthood. this is why there are so many stories about gay men with families and wives that one day are found to have a secret gay lover. its because they cant change how they really feel but they have been taught by society to act "straight"
homosexuality is caused by being physiologically attracted to members of the same sex, love is a chemical reaction, it is not learned after birth. like verk said these things can be slightly changed by life experience however at its core homosexuality is not a choice
