They're tiny glass balls. At least they were proven to be, in the UK stuff.
Over here the white/yellow lines painted on the roads, have them mixed in with the paint so they reflect more light at night. Someone just decided to put them on weed as "crystals".
You're not smoking a joint hot enough to burn them, so they worst they'll do is irritate the back of your throat, still weaksauce though.
And fibreglass looks nothing like glass spanky.
