Have you looked into meditation? I don't even mean like having an instructor a specific mat, a specific posture. Just sitting down for 30 minutes a day and trying to quiet your mind as much as possible. Almost like a nap.

Meditation has changed my life, but I'm not gonna douse you with things like that

Also watch some comedy movies or youtube up "Meditation Music" you might be surprised with how it changes your attitude while stoned.
