No THANK YOU!
I don't need my snake eating abominations of nature for lunch.
So to get to the point, is it bad to let mice breed from two different mothers, but the same father?
I'm kind of at a loss for moral solutions here. I have three mice right now, and I am confident both the females are preggo and I don't really want to keep the dad because I'm going to have 15 weeks worth of food about and so I was just going to keep two to raise and breed out of this litter.
Or should I just keep the dad and continue to breed the same mothers?
I feel the stink of 2 mice instead of three could make a huge difference for the couple weeks before I get pinkies(baby mice).
edit: mice can breed I think at like 6 weeks old, so it's not like I'm in a rush for breeding mothers, but I do need a somewhat constant supply of food.
