I love his re-creation of Stanley Milgram's experiment on obedience.

It's part of a series of tests Derren runs on what began with (I think) 20 everyday business men/women with no previous criminal records. He runs a series of tests and experiments with these people and wittles the numbers down. The purpose is to see if they are capable of performing an armed robbery purely on their own accord, with some help of NLP and suggestive triggers, and without ever actually having armed robbery mentioned to them. It all culminates with a very elaborate set-up for the unsuspecting participants to have the opportunity to perform the robbery.

INSANELY interesting and exciting... I'm usually good at picking up when shit seems fake, but the reactions and expressions look completely genuine.

Genuine like the reactions to Milgram's experiment... which was a breakthrough in the understanding of human psychology. Listen to Derren's explanation of the experiment carefully, he hits all of the important implications. Plus, it's a very fun and intense watch :

Embedding is disabled as well with this one, but give it a watch!
