are you kidding? what I did was almost non existent compared to the daily brainwashing this little girl surely receives.
so it's OK to tell a small child all of this Jehovah crap on a daily basis - but I'm wrong because I took 5 seconds to do my best and off set this girls spiral towards ignorance?
by the time this little girl turns 13, and is able to think rationally about god, spirituality, and the reality of our existence, she will have had this religious BS pounded into her head for nearly a decade by her nutcase mom. More than likely she will not even question her religion because she was brought up believing in it.
How many people out there believe in their respective religions because they were raised to believe?? Think about it.. Would they have chosen to believe if they would have been freshly acquainted with the ideas of their religion when they were old enough to make a rational and logical choice? There's a reason that 5 year olds believe in Santa, because momma says he's real. Momma telling her kid that
HER idea of god is real is no different, except of course this belief doesn't go away when one gets older, most are simply sucked in and never get out.
It's wrong.
and I don't just aim this at Jehovah's witnesses, their religion is no more rediculous than christianity. The religion is wrong, why promote spreading this disease to innocent children.. will this madness ever end?
- Well I'm sure as hell going to do my part, in the hopes that one day it will.
Call it wrong if you will, but it sure feels like the right thing to do.
