this video has random images from things like the holocaust, starving children, war, slavery, and other things that imo dont have anything to do with sacrifices for religion. and several of the images were repeated, too. the audio is terrible, there were whole segments of this movie where the music would drown out the narrator. he talks about all world leaders being involved in some sort of conspiracy involving sacrifices, but offers no tangible evidence, or even any theories really, just rhetoric. and the stuff he does talk about which is true, such as sacrifices still happening today, everyone who has access to the national geographic channel/magazine, internet, or any type of media talking about other cultures already knows. this video is the equivalent of a nibiru video.
other than that, if the religion you or some culture practices sacrifices, then i dont think that they would consider that "dark". they would consider it "worship". the western worlds preconceived notions of "proper" worship does not include sacrifices, and we look down on that, so we would call it "dark". imo tho, ending a life just to appease some god is retarded.
