i would even go so far as to say that we should pray for those who truly believe these people gain power through such methods. whether or not they actually do, i feel as though lending credence to the idea gives it life; at least so far as it affects our expectations, and our expectations affect our reality. i believe that extent to be great, but no one can argue that there is no effect at all from such belief. i see this a lot like i see all conspiratorial beliefs. it's not about whether they are "the truth," it's about how you allow that truth paint your world. some people let that painting go way overboard like (imo) the fellow who made this video, and some people just think the government's behind stuff like 9/11. regardless of the belief's apparent verity, the vistas these beliefs can paint when left to work unabated are fraught with disempowerment in all cases, fostering defeatist or, at worst, fatalistic attitudes as the strokes continue on in the dark muck with which they color the world.
the question, as always, is "how are your beliefs working for you?" are you putting them to work for you or for someone else?
